When you think of calling upon a powerful angel to provide aid, you often think of Michael, Metatron, or perhaps even Elubatel. But the fact is that there are hundreds of named angels out there, some with very specific abilities. If you summon one of these lesser known angels and their purpose matches with what is currently needed in your life, you can often get a more powerful response than you would from say even an Archangel. One angel that I have worked with a few times and have received miraculous results from is the angel Netahel.
Netahel belongs to the Shem HaMephorash. This is a group of 72 angels named in the Kabala, with each angel representing one of the 72 aspects of God. These 72 angels are divided into 9 groups of 8 angels that are each ruled over by one of the 9 archangels. Netahel’s ruling archangel is Tsadkiel (also a bit of a lesser known angel) and his corresponding Tarot card is the 5 of Wands.
Let’s take a moment to talk about this Tarot card. The 5 of Wands can be understood as the “burnout” card in Tarot. When this card pops up, it describes a drawn-out situation when the person has been taking it from all angles for some time now. People just wont give them a break and there is no clear end in sight. When you’re stuck in this situation, you almost wish you could get a Tower or 10 of Swords situation just so it could be over and you could move on. It’s no accident that this is the card associated with Netahel. If you are in a 5 of Wands time in your life, he is the perfect angel for you.
If you summon Netahel, he can do a number of things to help you. The night after the working he will provide you with a prophetic dream that will either show you a way out of your situation, what you need to be doing next or focusing on moving forward, or the dream will help clear up any confusion and show you exactly what’s been going on. Which dream you get will simply depend on what’s needed to improve your situation.
The other thing Netahel will do for you is he will improve your ability to work magick as well as help you to “become wise regarding a subject of import”. This “subject of import” usually has to do with what’s needed to help get you back on your lifepath. Maybe you’re trying to create a successful business but you lack the marketing skills. Maybe you’re a musician but you need to master a certain editing software on your computer in order to take your music to the next level. This is what Netahel will help you with.
In terms of “improving magick”, I find that after working with Netahel, my Law of Attraction abilities in particular seem to be heightened.

Most angels look androgynous to me, but I find that Netahel has very masculine features. He appears readily and is more easily visible than some of the other angels out there.
